Has anyone gotten to play this gem? Beautiful course on a small piece of land by the gulf. Only a couple of small gulf views on the Front 9, but it’s a hell of a layout and maintained immaculately. Got the chance to play a few rounds since I’ve recently moved to the area. Really nice hidden gem. They did a redesign a couple of years ago and made it Pinehurstesque. If you miss the fairway is native sandy waste area. Really cool track.

I played it several times before it converted to private and it was my favorite course in the area. Never got the attention of the SanDestin courses, Kelly, Regatta, Camp Creek, but it was the only course in the area that had some elevation changes and it was pretty low key and laid back. Bummer it's private now, but sounds like it's been reborn.

It’s become one of the harder clubs to get into since everyone moved here during covid. Waiting list to join and initiation fees went up drastically.

I haven’t played it yet since it was redone but it looks amazing from the road. Heard they got the greens rolling good.

I was planning to move to that area when I retired, but the last three or four trips to the Destin area have been so miserable with crowds that I'm looking elsewhere. Too bad, as I've been going to that area for decades but it's just over run now.

Played it Thursday and the course was excellent. They verticutted the greens Monday and it was rolling fast and true. They are punching next week but as well kept as it seems it will be back to great conditions soon.

There was hardly a pine straw out of place. This course is a must play if you get a chance. Just don’t miss the fairway, typical beach course that penalize you for missing fairways.

ETA: played it with someone who played Camp Creek a few years ago and said it was just as nice condition wise.

We played it last Sunday, it was the day before the US amateur qualifier the next day, firm and fast. It has blossomed since Bill Bergin did the redesign and I would recommend highly.

Years ago that was my annual golf outing in Destin. The last two trips, years ago, to Destin though took us 5 hours to drive to Destin then 2 more hours to get to wherever we stayed because of traffic. We don’t go there any more.
