Was Leonard Fournette in the band in high school?

Was watching his senior highlights because, well just because it's not football season yet.
Toward the end of the highlights there was a shot of the band and I was full on looking for him to be playing the effing Tuba. That dude was insane.

I think this is a joke but I’m not sure.

It’s possible...Back in my H.S. years at Rummel, whenever it was time to play them we’d say,
“At St. Aug they try out for the band first. Those who don’t make the band try out for the football team.”

Band of Brothers maybe. I wasn't a matter of who could tackle him but who'd want to.

idk if OP understands how much swag tuba players from St Aug had.
Likely had more comp for that marching spot then the RB position.

I was an offensive lineman for Rummel. Those dudes blasted our ears off whenever we had the ball. Felt like they were on the field next to us.

I remember reading somewhere that he was a drum major during Mardi Gras...

Idk about that but former Tiger Mickey Johnson played in the St. Paul's band in addition to playing on the defensive line for the football team.

I was watching a movie the other day The Big Easy with Dennis Quaid filmed in the 80s and they showed St Aug band playing in it. He had a bizzare accent in the movie. Not sure how Nola it is

You’re thinking of Jeremy Hill. He had his flute played in high school.
