Find a new Urologist if that's the best the current one can do. My Dr. had me bring in the stones I had saved and he sent them to a lab for analysis.

It came back that uric acid was the root cause of my stones. That is the same thing that can cause gout in many people, but for some reason it hits me with kidney stones.

I was put on a daily dose of Allopurinol that has greatly reduced the event of stones, but not totally eliminated them. The pill, along with lots of fluids daily have helped a lot.
