Question about Southwest booking and changing when prices lower

Booked wife and I on flights to and from Phoenix. I did book us together each way. The flight to Phoenix has been offering lower prices for 1 Seat only on its two lowest options.
Because we booked together we cannot make the change. It’s like they are screwing with me. One day it’s the original price and the next they offer the single seat options. I have flown a good bit and haven’t seen this back and forth before.
Any thoughts/ideas? Thanks

Call Southwest Reservations. They will fix it. Easier that using online service.

I've never had any issues changing or modifying my flight online so I am kind of confused what the problem is and I apologize but I don't have any suggestions but want to follow on to see what people say.
Normally, when you access your flight info on Southwest.Com you can find your flights and select to change them. From there you chose what legs of the flight you want to change and can select another day, time or even class of ticket.
If your wifes ticket is bought under a different rapid rewards account separately you can access her flight info by having her name and confirmation number here

There are a limited number of wanna get away seats available on each flight. There may be only one of those available.

What may be happening is that there is only 1 seat available at the lower price, but the second seat is at the next price bucket which may wash out any savings. If the savings is enough it may be worth a call, but your original booking may have been the average of the two prices without you realizing it.

I had flights scheduled HOU-RNO in middle of September and HOU-STL for the Missouri game in October bought with miles in February. Got an email with the huge sale in May or June & went online and was able to save about 25% of the miles I was going to use. It was really simple.
