Yes my original statement is correct. I personally see no point to Squat or Deadlift unless one is trying to do competitive powerlifting. The injury risk to reward ratio isn’t there for me. You don’t need those movements for bodybuilding

Squats and deadlifts are a compound movement workout that hit almost every muscle group. They are great to do if done correctly and with a weight comfortable with.

When going heavy yeah there is a huge risk of injury. That doesn't make them a bad lift.

"isn't there for me". So your statement is correct for you.

Squats are an amazing workout. I think people should put form before weight, but even lighter weight is more beneficial compared to the leg press machine/rack.

This is just stupid. Squats even when done with light weight have a lot of positive benefits to your whole body. Squats are a total body workout if done properly. Most people don't do them properly. This moron is dead because he was more concerned with filming himself than using a cage with sidebars or a squat rack with sidebars.
