Would say the shed, but just had that for lunch today and it was not great.

You can order off the menu everywhere on the list as far as I know. But, expect heavier crowds and longer waits than normal.

That's usually how it is. We did restaurant week at Cheesecake Bistro last time and the price was great for the food we got. Everything else is vastly overpriced and you're limited to only what is on that menu for whatever you're paying.

Tio Javi's is fair and Rocca was good when it was available last time.

Based on what the menus are offering, the only place I would consider going to is Rotolo's or The Shed because everything else is a complete rip off.

I just looked at a few menus because their mobile website was total shite. You used to could look by price but that didn’t seem to be an option unless I missed it. Nothing stood out to me. I’d rather go and just order off the regular menu.

Look at Doe’s, for example. For $50 you get a salad or soup which cost them very little make. A decent choice of the main entrees. Then their dessert is rotating daily so there is no choice. You are basically paying $50 for an entree and if you get lucky you get a dessert you like. That’s not a deal and it could end up costing you more than if you just ordered what you wanted.

And for those asking, yes, you can order off the regular menu. Most people eating there don’t even realize it is restaurant week.

Restaurant Week used to sort their restaurants by price. All the menus have different ranges instead of the normal $25/$35/$45 menus. I think that ruins some of the draw from restaurant week. I'm just looking at all these expensive restaurants and thinking "yup that's about what it would cost for a small portion meal at this place" so I've given up on this.

Agree and most of the places include a dessert as one of the 3 options. How about soup/salad, app, and entree. Not really interested in whatever crap you rustled up for dessert.

BR restaurants have essentially teamed up to scam locals to make them think they're getting a deal when all they're doing is getting an expensive sampler.

This is exactly it. For those of us that remember, Restaurant Week originally was a way for restaurants to get people to come and try their food. They offered their food at a lower price than normal and it was almost always a good deal. Didn’t mean you were getting half off or anything but better than normal. Now the restaurants just throw together random menu items and price them ABOVE normal to make extra money. Very few restaurants offer actual deals to get people in the door.
