2 weeks in Madeira beach and taking in a Rays game. Kinda bragging a little. Don’t want to leave. If you are ever in the area go check out Fort DeSoto state park. Beautiful

It’s An awesome place. Lived in south Tampa for a while a decade ago, it’s very different now though.

ETA: the trop should be imploded that’s the worst sports venue in America

Coolest thing about Tampa is that CSX train that chugs through downtown.

I was supposed to go to Tampa/ St Pete for the day with the family a month ago but the traffic was ridiculous in Orlando going to Tampa so we just stayed and relaxed at the resort.

Lived down there for two years. I loved everything about it but the traffic. I was done sitting in that shite for two hours on the ride home from work everyday.

Currently just a few blocks from that beach. The sand and ocean are hot. We ate at Crabby’s on the Pass and my uncle found shrimp in his pasta (allergic as hell) but didn’t notice til the end. We brought it to our waiter’s attention and he didn’t do anything but apologize. We had a big party but overall experience was a bit messy. If you know any good food spots we will look into it.

My four siblings and I inherited a nice house on the water on a little island just off Pass-A-Grille down from the Don Cesar Hotel. I'm not a Florida fan and hadn't been down there in years. So, I sold my share to a couple of my siblings. I did enjoy a grouper sandwich at The Hurricane, but that was not a reason for me to keep an interest in the property. The siblings who bought me and two other siblings out love it there and they and their families visit often.

Spent some time there last summer. Had a great time, but seemed like it took 30 minutes to get everywhere.

I lived on Clearwater Beach 20 years ago and had relatives who lived down the road in St. Pete Beach. (Spent many a summer down in St Pete as a teen). Yes, it is (or was) a very nice area. Haven't been able to make it back in many years.

Clearwater is kinda funny because it is a Scientology capital. They all wear their green sports blazers around town like some cult.

It’s gotten so much better with every passing year.

Soho is a great area as is Hyde park.

Downtown St. Pete is the thriving with so many new bars and restaurants.
