Because we are talking about gender and you perspective is its tied to chromosomes. I think there is more to it but if If I give you that, in those cases where an anomaly exist would you grant an exception and be comfortable with that person choosing to identify as a woman even though they are chromosomally a male? If so would there be any room to extend that exception to someone with a mental illness? I dont think its an entirely unfair question to ask.

In real world interactions, this academic stuff is pretty worthless.

I still don't understand why its so important that non transgenders affirm and believe the fairy religion.

People can be whatever they choose as long as they are of the age of consent, and it doesn't require taxpayer money.


The histrionics of "life saving gender surgery" is enough to realize there's a lot of fabricated stories going around.
