Are any of the kids from the Louisiana team that won the LLWS several years ago college level players?

I know a lot of those types of kids just went through puberty early but I remember that one kid that hit like .750 in the tournament was a smaller kid so maybe he panned out?

Just wondering if anyone has any info. Thanks

Marshal Louque is on the 2025 commit list. He is the only one that I have seen as a commit.

Ascension Parish Little League beat Eastbank Little League last night to win the state championship and head to Waco, Tx for regionals, and a chance at a ticket to Williamsport.

Scott Frazier is still coaching Eastbank LL, but they were not nearly as loaded this season and Ascension's program is on the upswing.

Ascension Parish is slowly and quietly building a very strong LL program, this is only year 3 of their build. Were a player or 2 short last season, did beat Eastbank for the first time last season in game 1 of District.
Broke through last night by beating Eastbank again, but this time when is matters, in the state Championship game.

Don't think this Ascension team is good enough to win it all in Williamsport, but it would be cool to see Louisiana boys back there again and on ESPN. Unfortunately the only way to watch the action in Waco, Tx in a couple weeks is to have Longhorn Network.

Louque might not make it to campus, because of the MLB Draft, but we’ll see.
