Orgeron was probably halfway to Natchitoches when he found out.
One minute he’s going about 100 mph up I-49 expecting to be welcomed as a returning prodigal son. Then Bruce Feldman contacts him and explains that it’s the Big 10 school near Chicago that has an opening.
