When he came to LSU he had a binder and a whole head full of thoughts on what went wrong at Ole Miss. Some believed him. I give him credit for winning us a title. He helped assemble the avengers that year which became our team.

But.

How do you interview and say you learned from mistakes. Then write a book about it. Then repeat those mistakes? How could someone else give you the keys to a program again after that fall?

he used the same binder that he used to get the ole miss jobs.

read about his hiring at Ole Miss in "Meat Market"
then read about Alleva hiring him at LSU.

sounds like the exact same story.
