Anyone play it recently? Overheard someone at TPC last Monday mentioning about some vandalism on some of the greens.

Guy at work went a couple weekends ago and the pro shop told them that vandals spray painted and drove on some greens and went as far as pouring cement in some of the holes. He had a free round so played anyway. Said it had some bad spots on some greens but wasn't quite as bad as the guy in the pro shop made it sound.

Not just Nola! this happens everywhere. I've dealt with this a lot over the last 23 years. Its frustrating to come into work in the morning to get a call from the cup changer or greens mower to tell you to come see. The worst one I have seen was in Houston about 2 years ago. It happens all around the golf industry, and is worse when kids are out of school.

Course is in really good shape. Greens could be a little quicker, but overall solid.

Random pic on #4 from Monday.

Played Saturday. Course was in good condition. Greens were nice. Vandalism on back 9. They spray painted some weird stuff. Some sort of activist group vying to save the “Forrest”. No sign of concrete but you can see the spray paint on the greens on the back nine. Hole 10 is the only one i remember. But overall course was really nice.

They wrote some weird stuff, but it’s small and only on a couple of greens. Played it twice last week, greens are slow, fairways are in good shape. And the greens and surrounds are still really boring and flat.

They aerated 3 or so weeks ago so probably letting the greens grow out a bit. Course is in great shape though that Bermuda loves this heat.

Probably the same group that was chaining themselves to trees when they were starting construction on the redesign.

It was something to do with police in Atlanta and a Forrest.
