There's been 8 Spiderman and 8 Batman movies and people aren't tired of those. X-Men has a bunch of characters you can mix and match to keep things fresh. There's plenty of things Marvel can do to differentiate themselves from Fox's X-Men movies to bring audiences back.

I think the character and casting choices are going to be huge for X-Men. If they go with the most well-known X-Men and have actors that fit the part, it will be big. But if they go another route, it could just be a whimper.
