All the CWS announcers were clowning on Kiley’s list the entire CWS. He had Skenes at 5 prior to the CWS

Well that was a possibility & based on this narrative that Pittsburgh was going the cheap route & that kid would sign as the #1 pick for close to $7M.
Obviously they were willing to pay more for a guy like Skenes.
