Pauly doesn't run the store. I don't think he has anything to do with it really. His estranged brother got it after his mother passed, and Pauly was not happy about it. I think his brother is an accountant or financial manager type.

I think I remember that now, and Wiki tells me it is owned/operated through the Mitzi Shore trust. Either way, it has gone to shite.

I think there is also another reason for the success of The Mothership & the falling off of The Comedy Store as Joe got Adam Eget to leave LA and come run the club in Austin
