Good!

And it's down today too.

quote:

This controversy started after Ben and Jerry’s said this Fourth of July, it is “high time we recognize that the US exists on stolen indigenous land and commit to returning it.”

“Learn more and take action now,” said Ben and Jerry’s.

It said the United States needs to start with giving back Mount Rushmore.

Let’s start with turning over Ben & Jerry’s factory in Waterbury, VT to the indigenous Abenaki peoples from whom their land was stolen

After that we can talk LINK

it's obvious that these companies are being told what to say and do by other more powerful and influential agencies. no company worth millions or billions would publicly state what they did and not expect some level of blowback.

there needs to be an investigation in who is behind these companies' actions, and what their real motive is

And what about the land those indians stole from other indians?

The irony of these companies that are so upset with "stolen land" but back liberal policies of not prosecuting shoplifting/theft/grand theft auto is peak liberal hypocrisy.

As they make millions of dollars participating in our capitalist system.

Like AOC and Bernie, they’re hypocritical frauds.

If it's been so awful for centuries, why did these enlightened fricktards choose to start their business here?

i'm aware, but what's THEIR end goal? if all these behemoth companies like budlight, target, and ben and jerry's are expendable, what will vanguard/state street/blackrock gain, even if they were able to place someone on their board of directors or influence the c-level suites? what's their motive in causing financial havoc in the companies that they give money to?

Predicting winners/losers ahead of time is very profitable.

There are no indigenous people in North America, some just got here a lot earlier than others.

The ancestors of the American Indians were nomadic hunters of northeast Asia who migrated over the Bering Strait land bridge into North America probably during the last glacial period (11,500–30,000 years ago). Brittanica

Luckily I don’t use any of their brands, so my personal boycott will be easy to maintain.

You really think the threat of a B&J boycott is what’s affecting the Unilever stock price?

Someone should make a Ben & Jerry's ripoff brand and call it Paul & Joey's or something.

It would actually probably knock them out of the market over the next decade or so.

Ben and Jerry's has a long history of saying crap like this. Not sure they needed any prodding from someone up the chain of command.
