I'm not on the JJ bandwagon, but he lead us to a TD right before the half after Lee was hurt. Conveniently forget that to prove your point?

Lee started that drive.

If you really want to include it:

Pass for 37 yards to a wide open Lafell

3 yard run

9 yard TD pass

What?

It is one thing to hold the fact that we didn't win against him. We were 18 points in hole when he started.

But that doesn't excuse the fact that we only scored 3 points with him at the helm.

I get your point Earl and agree that JJ wasn't great, but to be fair, JJ did throw a TD to Tolliver.

You should also take into account how no WRs on our team handing the ball to the Ole Miss defense, too.

Atleast we know who Byrd wants throwing him the ball. He hasn't tried this hard all year.

NEver said he wasnt.

He couldnt move the ball though regardless. I'm just trying to see what people saw today from him to tab him the next best thing.

Or even better than Lee.

It does when you know we had to be a throw first team with a brand new QB who rarely dropped back all year.

dropped passes, penalties, sacks(heavy pressure), crowton insisting on running the ball led to those short drives.

He couldnt move the ball because Oline looked the worst they did all year.

I think the difference between the two in the eyes of the JJ proponents is that they see basically the same results, and for Lee it is all his fault, whereas for JJ they come up with excuses in their mind.

b/c LEE is 2nd in the nation in INT's and has no running threat.

The lack of a running game certainly didn't help JJ.

Which actually proves that he isn't ready. Dude handled pressure worse than Lee and that's saying a lot.

has lead to poor QB play by both QBs. I've never seen young QBs be put in more 3rd and 5+ than this year. You'd think that our coaches don't think we can get a 1st down unless it is 3rd and long.

Use these excuses for Lee too. Don't just blame Lee and act like he should be able to overcome these things, but then use them as excuses for JJ>

he took 2 sacks after sitting in the pocket for literally 5 seconds

only 1 time was he really under pressure, when Peria took his head off.

Funny how all these excuses come out once the facts are put on paper.

WHAT THE frick DID HE DO TO IMPRESS??? ANYONE???

He's big and tall and black, and has a great arm. Is that what you are hanging your hat on? What did he do to show he was better than Lee?

anyone? anyone?

He isn't Lee. You could put Marilyn the hermaphrodite tard from Chimes St. back there and people would start talking Heisman's.
I could hear it now,"With the talent we have he/she would be great."
