Biggest difference I saw was much more of an emphasis on attacking the zone.

Earlier on 0-2 or 1-2 it seemed like we threw alot more “chase pitches” let the hitter even the count and had to feed Fastballs that got smoked or just walked guys.

In Omaha it seemed like 0-2 or 1-2 meant blood in the water and we just went after dudes.

And this was the key because if you made a mistake in the zone, odds were the ball wouldn’t be a HR.

Guys stepped up big time and Johnson was playing 3 D chess. A remarkable turnaround for the bullpen, stunning.

+1. Basically the walks went bye bye and the pitchers trusted their pitches. Dramatic turnaround indeed. Fun to watch! Our 3 top pitchers (Skenes, Floyd, and Hurd) were spectacular! Ackenhausen and Cooper were unbelievable as well . Well done!
