Did you watch the bottom of the 6th? No intellectually honest person believes that was the same crappy strike zone from the rest of the game. The announcers, who have no affiliation to LSU, even said during the inning "This zone has really tightened in this inning".

And after the damage was done, it went right back to being all over the place.

That’s not how it works. Good batters adjust based on Umpire strike zone. If umpire doesn’t even know strike zone, good players cannot adjust and swing at everything.

Wake could have lost. It was bad game for both

That’s such a stupid way of looking at it.

You are saying yes he sucked. Yea he sucked bad. However both teams had him as their umpire.

Did it change that he sucked bad? No.

Did he directly impact the game? Yes.

Would the game have been different had he called it fairly? Yes.

Who would have won if he hadn’t shite the bed? Who knows, but at least the athletes would have decided the game.
