Early reviews say it’s better than the 1st.

Just finished watching. I need to watch the first again, but it is possibly better. Great action sequences. Hemsworth is excellent in this type movie. I hope he stays with it.

Just finished a back to back of the original then the new one

I definitely enjoyed the new one, and, as mentioned Hems is incredible in these roles. I did prefer the original, though. I preferred the more back alley, slum nature of the first. This one clearly has a much bigger budget, flashy locations, and big set pieces. It’s still really good, but I liked the first better

Also, Hems’ character is still incredibly skilled in this one, but GD he’s gotta be one of the dumbest special forces person ever lol. Some of the decisions he made were so dumb. They resulted in some awesome action sequences but damn son, grow a brain hahaa

Hope we keep seeing more of these and def seems like they’re gonna keep churning out and have them be Netflix’s MI or Fast and Furious

The wife and I just finished watching. Equal or better than the first one. The third one has a high bar to clear.

Watched last night, I prefer the first but not by much, second is well worth the watch. Also, looks like we will be getting a third installment with the way second ended.

enjoyable movies usually don't include a lot of good decision making

I prefer this one. I didn't finish the 1st on on first watch. Came back and watched it a few weeks later. This one was action packed and the threat felt real. The fight scenes in the prison and the single shot sequences were very cool.

1a - Extraction
1b - 2

Damned entertainment. Very engaging. Solid acting with some feels.

How did the bad guys get out of Austria? It’s like the Joker leaving the Wayne penthouse on crack.

At the end/last act? They were still in Austia (as was Rake's house). That's how they could get there so fast.

Trip from Georgia (country) to Austria on the other hand...36 hours by car, 3 hours and 25 minutes direct flight time.

Of course, I would imagine they were there for a few days healing up after the call, so it squares up if you consider that.

Yea they never left, true. I guess I assumed they left for whatever reason.

Regardless, how do they get out of that building? He’s left on the top floor without the helicopter. His team is all dead. Did police just quit after they lost a helicopter and two cars of cops?
