There was another video that followed up on these type videos which highlighted a storm system that rolled through and highlighted the lightning activity. Basically, there was indeed a lightning strike associated with these fires.

I am unable to tell from the lightning map if it is raining like a good old southern ditch-filler, or a British Columbian mist. Small drizzle does not kill a giant forest fire.
