Ego trimmer here working on year 6 of 100% yard work getting done. Zero time spent on maintenance, zero purchasing, storing, or messing with gas/oil, zero parts changes, zero dollars spent on battery replacements. Just straight up eating weeds and cleaning off said weeds. It has cost me a grand total of about $3.50 in electricity (that's 56 volts X 2 ah X ~40 uses/yr X 5 years X 15 cents/kwh).

Looking forward to being called a pussy for simplifying my life and working more efficiently.

Time and a place for this discussion. OP just needs help with their gas trimmer.

Eventually when it finally becomes more trouble than it’s worth, a 2.5 ah string trimmer will do any job just fine.
