He'll probably split a few of these with Nadal, and he's got maybe two years of elite tennis left. He's 36, and 38 tends to be the wall with male tennis players.
One of the all time greats though. I've really loved this run of Federer handing over to Nadal and Djokovic.

Nadal has one curtain call early round exit left in gin at the French. His title days are over
Another unreal stat, djok has won 64% of the grand slam tournaments he had played in in the last 8 years.

Do some homework friend.

It’s an individual sport. And he could be put at the top of that but behind Tiger. It’s harder to dominate a team sport the way Ruth or Wayne did.

Tennis doesnt give out an mvp so this point is moot

He changed the game if golf. I mean the whole game. Novak did not do this.

Novak and nadal changed the game of tennis. They completely made the serve and volley game obsolete and forced everyone to be a baseline rat
It was with the help of equipment as well, but so was tigers changing of the game of golf

My main problem with the joker is his titles the last few years are against nobodies. I mean think about Rafa or Federer if they didn’t have to play against each other.

Against nobodies?
Alcaraz
Medvedev
And he still had a healthy nadal
Those are multi grand slam title “nobodies”

Gretzky, while being the leading goal scorer of all time, has more ASSISTS than the #2 all-time point scorer (Jagr) has points!

He played against the top tennis players in the world. Many were over a decade his junior. He is just that good

Imagine if they didn’t have to play against djoker. But they did and didn’t measure up

The leading points scorer in the NBA also is top 5 in assists, yet this board says he is the biggest disappointment ever and not even in the top 5-10 of this sport

Nadal won’t win another major. Djoker has at least 4 left

I don’t think he’s bested Gretzky yet, but he’s close and he has momentum at his age. It’s incredible.
Posted on 6/11/23 at 1:28 pm to tigerpimpbot
I want him to win one in his 40s. That would be like a golfer winning in their 70s
Only 4 players EVER have won a grand slam past the age of 32

Yes it would. The idea of a tennis player winning in their 40s was impossible 10 years ago. Impossible. If he can do it that will be one of the most amazing feats in sports history. But I still don’t think it’s plausible really even for him

Nah, the undisputed GOAT is still Roman charioteer Gaius Appuleius Diocles. These newboys don't hold a candle to him.
quote:
They show that in his 24 years of racing, he won 1,462 of his 4,257 four-horse races, and was placed in 1,438 more (mostly in second place). He broke several records. He won the most prestigious race, held immediately after the ceremonial opening procession (Pompa circensis), 110 times. He won 815 times by leading from the starting gate; one of his strategies involved his hanging back until the last minute, then pulling ahead of the competition for a clear win. His publicity and very detailed track record remain an essential source for reconstruction of the conduct and techniques of Roman chariot racing.
