Seeing as Real is my favorite team, I've hated Messi long before this. Of course Orlando City is my second favorite soccer team and he is now going to our rival. Even more reason to hate him.

On top of all that, MLS has bent over backwards to break the rules for certain teams and it is bullshite. Either enforce the rules or take the financial gloves off and let the owners sink or swim.

I’m hoping (and thinking) this whole thing will lead to a significantly increased salary cap for the league, but they might just do more frickery with added DP spots.

Why do you think all of the MLS clubs have agreed to pitch in financially for Messi to play in their league?
