Well, I offered to reduce what she owed in half if she paid it, otherwise it would be full price and lawyer + court fees. It would have made it a lot harder. Looks like she is at least wiling to work it out.

Get your lawyer to subpoena LA Dept of Labor for their last 2 quarters. Will at least have employment info if still in LA

If she has support payments from ex she may be able to just forward the payments through the courts for added support. Hopefully an amicable break.

You can’t repossess someone’s vehicle unless you have the title

It is not a repossession, its a seizure.
Once you have a judgment, you can seize anything that is not exempt. See La Revised Statute 13:3881
LA RS 13:3881
examples of things that are exempt
75% of disposable income
tools of the trade
poultry fowl and 1 Cow
dogs and cats kept as pets
firearms and ammo with value of less than 2500.00
see list for more examples

Any idea how to find them

What I would do is take a certified copy of the judgment and file it into the mortgage records of the court house in which you obtained the judgment.
Second I would contact the credit reporting agencies and let them know you have the judgment against this guy. The next time he tries to borrow money he will be turned down. You will get a phone call from him wanting to work something out. (Knew someone who got a judgment for past due child support(mid 5 figures) against an MD, who a year later needed a loan to buy a house, loan denied, judgment paid in full within a week of the denial)
