For those of you who have done 21 to Party, can you give an overview/review of the program? I am looking for a program that is a little quicker for Summer and Winter months. The description on the website seems a bit gimmicky and I just want to make sure it is a solid program before purchasing. I am currently doing Strongville and planning the next few months. Thanks for the insight.

I did it a few months back.

I had gotten sick (and ended up taking a week and half off from the lifting) when we were fishing the group program party for Strongville and I was looking for something way less intense to get back into things.

It’s a great program. Lesser on the heavy weights and not very intense, but there’s always something to do with 21 reps.

Do DoggCrapp training instead. More much time efficient

Dc is an advanced training method, not exactly meant for same crowd as ppsa. Plus requires about 6-9 exercises per body part/pattern that are easy to progressively overload. Also if you aren’t doing the extreme stretching, you aren’t doing sc training

I view DC training as a set of principles rather than a set workout. According to this source, LINK, a DC training workout can be done in just 5 exercises total for chest, shoulders, triceps, and back. And the exercises are standard stuff. I know there are other workouts that use DC training principles that have more volume.

I don’t believe there is such a thing as an advanced program, unless we are talking really high volume programs for those on gear. I certainly don’t see anything advanced about this one. Either a program is optimal or near optimal for growth or it isn’t. Then you progress in the program by adding weight

This part would be tough in a home gym. But I may add the stretching to my current program

I think DC training may be too advanced for me, but I do appreciate the reply.I like PPSA in general and have had good results. I may head back to my favorite so far, Filling Out The Hoodie.

Dc training is not a set of principles, quit reading articles and go read intense muscle and read the stuff from Dante himself or to read og cycle for pennies

You sent me down a rabbit hole today. My biggest takeaway so far is I program hop way too much and I don't think I know how to crank up the intensity as much as I should be. Going to start working on that

yea the og CFP thread is like 2k pages, its insane. ive read whole thing couple times.

and even though its not that active anymore, intense muscle still has some of the best info on the net
