I never understood the whole "pride" thing.
No one cares if you munch carpet or suck dick in your private life. No one cares if I banged my wife (no pics) over the weekend, so why should we care what they do?
If being gay is the thing you want to show pride in, it's a pretty weak choice. Be proud of your profession or something; not your sex life.

A lot of people care, actually. By many, it is still considered immoral and deviant behavior that should be discouraged.
I understand the pride movement where it comes to homosexuals declaring that they are proud of who they are and will not let others confine them to “the closet” anymore.
But that being said individuals often take the movement and celebration way too far.
This message can be conveyed without assless chaps in the middle of the street.
