No but most argued Jay made a process decision and regardless of the end results there was logic behind it. So when it worked out you can’t say well because things actually broke his way it was lucky.

With the benefit of hindsight it was the only move to make. We got the most possible innings out of our guys.

I highly doubt that was the main reason. I wouldn’t be surprised if he considered it but no way you make a decision that big by guessing the weather outcome.
It wasn’t a “bad” decision though. I honestly think he is looking to the supers already. If you critique him on anything it’s for being overconfident
