Don’t let your bullshite get in the way of a relationship w your kid.
Ok, accepting that your child is gay doesn’t mean that you’ve got to support the lifestyle. And there are other facets of life in which you can support your children. You don’t necessarily have to support each decision they make.

The type of stuff where you hear about coming out being heroic is because a lot of backwards arse ways of thinking like calling being gay degenerate or wrong or evil. If you can’t support your kid when they come out then you’re an a-hole
