I have a Cox account and espn + but all I can get is the espn+ stuff to play on my phone. I am trying to get ready for tomorrow because I was able to watch today. But I can’t pull up the sec tournament on phone.
What am I doing wrong
ETA: for anyone having this issue with iPhone. Here is how to fix it. Thanks to TepperDaGuru
Go to settings-TV provider- log in with your credentials- then select which apps you wish to use with that provider.

I will try again. I was able to watch the games today on tv. However tomorrow I will have to watch on my phone and I cannot get sec network games to play on my phone. I have in the past but not recently.

Use your internet provider to log in to the ESPN app. If you have the SEC network add ons for your cable package, you will get it on your phone. If you don’t have that sec network package, get it.
ETA: click the settings cog on the top right of the app, and click provider tab. You must know your ISP email and password. If you can’t figure out how to retrieve that, I would recommend google!

Launch ESPN app.
Click Watch in the bottom middle.
Scroll down until you see Channels.
Scroll over until you see SECN.
Click.
Profit.
*all this assumes you’re logged into the app with your Cox credentials.

This happened to me in the past and it was because my TV subscription in the ESPN app had disconnected. Once I reset to my cable account it worked again. Hope this helps

Yeah the app gets funky sometimes when there’s an overload of people using it. Sometimes you need to completely exit out and retry until it eventually works again.

How do I reset the Cox account. I keep hitting the tv account and it goes no where

Go to the app in your settings and clear cache. If that doesn't work then uninstall and reinstall.

Link to what cable provider you use in the settings portion of th app in the top right corner of the app while using your home wifi to connect the app.

Can we change this to DelgadoGrad2005 after reading this thread?
Posted on 5/24/23 at 8:43 pm to RummelTiger
You can change it to be homeschool grad if it makes you feel better. I am just trying to watch the LSU game tomorrow.
I am asking because I have watched games on my phone before but it is not working anymore so I figured I would ask here. If it is the wrong place delete the thread.

That has happened to me and others in my family, after uninstalling and re-installing, then entering COX info, it works.

Just giving you a hard time.
Go to the settings icon in the ESPN app. Log out, log back in. It should take you back through the “tv provider” portion/log in steps.
If all else fails, delete the app, start from the beginning.
There’s a good chance you just got logged out, or sometimes there’s a glitch where it asks for your info again.

I do appreciate the help but I have uninstalled and re installed twice and every time I try to click the tv provider it brings me back to the main screen. Seems I am having some more challenging issues.
Thanks to all for the help

Does Cox have two options?
For example, I have Optimum. If I go to ESPN and click on "Optimum", then it just takes me to the login screen.
But...if I choose "Optimum TV", then it takes me right in.
Is that maybe the case with Cox?

It’s fine I do not have delicate sensibilities just frustrated I can not get this to work
