I appreciate the work you obviously put into this.

I do have a question in particular about Scoot

What makes him more of a Westbrook comp than a Dennis Smith Jr comp?

Admittedly I haven’t seen him play (much); but his numbers and Efficiency are a bit concerning in the g league. He’s got nba fringe journeymen outperforming him numbers wise by a pretty large margin.

Not trying to be disrespectful bc I haven’t done my deep dive on the Scoot film or this draft class yet. And when I do, I tend to focus on International and college prospects. I find the G League/Overtime elite scenes hard to get a read on bc it largely feels like playground style basketball.

I share your concern somewhat about Scoot, but there is a lot that jumps out that you can't teach to me as well. He has great vision for one, great at creating for others. He is big and gets downhill but is very fluid, he maintains vision and drives with purpose, great at drop offs, awesome at anything change of pace. The things he's not that good at yet you can get better at over time, i think. There is an element of some potential once better at those things that moves him up a couple spots over some solid contributors imo, but i admittedly rather take complete players now, which is why i wouldnt be as excited taking him as a few others personally, but it may be one of those things where you have to do it. Luckily we won't have that problem lol

scoot is good. Crazy athleticism, finishing around rim. Really good midrange p&r game, plays hard on D. He showed improvement with his perimeter shot. Plays with a ton of energy. The Westbrook comp is solid
