Cocksuckers never have the same strike zone any game and they fricked Skenes that inning on about four or five calls.

I said this at the beginning of the year and got heavily downvoted. Now….. after the tightened and inconsistent strike zones, a lot of people are realizing that it’s a really good idea.

It will remove the inconsistency among Umpires, placing every pitcher on a level playing field while (probably) speeding up the game.

That ump is either incompetent, had bet on the game for Georgia to win or is a Georgia homie or was in Georgia's pocketbook. Sure seems he consistently called strikes balls when LSU batted and strikes balls when Ga.was at the plate. Ridiculous.

SEC has intentionally tightened up their zone to the point where if the pitch is borderline they are calling it a ball every time. It’s not a secret, pitchers have to adjust

The people on here act like they could do a better job. If these guys are that bad…then why don’t some of y’all get out there & take these guys jobs?? Learn the craft & earn a little extra $$ on the side.

Automated strike zones can’t come fast enough
______________________________________________________________
The Automated (electronic) Strike Zone System will be used in all 30 Class AAA parks in 2023. Major League Baseball is expected to introduce an Automated Strike Zone System in 2024. Does anyone have any information on if there are any plans to introduce ASZ to college baseball?

It's also possible the past two series could have gone differently had the strike zone been consistent.

Umping? I have tons of respect for umps. Nothing about what I said was insulting to them

No, the umps need to be CONSISTENT with their calls…far too many times the pitcher has got a called strike on the corner and goes right back to the same pitch and location and it’s a ball when it’s clear as day it’s a strike…

Then the pitch is called a ball, ok the hitter sees that is called a ball and lays off of it and he next time and it’s a strike…

I have never seen so many frustrated pitchers and batters for both teams in all my years of watching baseball…
