Maybe Tiger Point? I played it once a few years ago on a freezing arse morning....winter conditions so I dunno what shape it is currently in, but I recall kinda liking the layout

Tiger Point is really your only decent option within 30-45 minutes. I play there every year when we go to Portofino.

You can also drive about an hour west to play Lost Key. I've done that too.

All of the courses recommended are great venues. Back in November we played Marcus Pointe and it was a solid course that only charged us $40 (green fee and cart) to play.

Glad to hear it’s playing good. I played there probably close to 30 years ago when it was either brand new or had gotten a complete overhaul, but I really enjoyed. Never see it pop up on panhandle suggestions so I guess I had figured it wasn’t very good anymore

Unless you work at the Ascend Plant, that is a very obscure recommendation. Not disagreeing, but way out of the way.

Scenic Hills is a neat track. Used to live on that course. Not sure what kind of shape it is in right now, but played it a couple months ago and it was good to go.

NAS Pensacola was a good military course if you have access.

There is really not much. Nas Pensacola is fun but it’s almost as bad as BR for golf.

Looks like next week is no good for Hidden Creek. They’re doing a lot of greens work.
