It’s really not all that shocking. It’s the same reason Giannas didn’t win 3 in a row. They fumbles in the playoffs every year they won it. Embiid also literally begged for the MVP and bitched about being 2nd. Voters also refuse to do 3 in a row apparently.

I would say 74 points and 36 rebounds in a half is a little abnormal.
But yes their field goal % and their sets aren’t anything crazy. It’s all the second chance points and transition that’s killing lakers
