It's nice that people get excited about stores that carry 100% generic brands.

It's Central. It's the only thing exciting about there besides not having to live in BR proper.

More store options for consumers is a good thing. Don't want the generic brands, go to the store next door.

Aldi has name brand items.

There are a lot of knockoffs though

No, they don’t. They sell coke products, Oreos, Rao’s, V8, Chips Ahoy, Ritz, and other name brands.

I just went to Aldi today and over half the items I bought were brand name. I saved $3 on the same exact quiche I can get elsewhere.

And for you fatties out there, the party size packages of Oreos were a dollar less than a regular size at Wal-Mart.
