#Warriors vs #Kings Game 7 on ABC drew the largest audience for an #NBAPlayoffs 1st round game in 24 years, since 1999, (Nielsen).

Game 7 averaged 9,835,000 viewers, peaking w/ 11,929,000 viewers at 6PM.

It was the most-watched first round ever on Disney platforms.

The NBA Playoffs are cooking TV-wise:
- TNT has its most-watched 1st round of Playoffs since 2018.
- TNT games averaged 3.5M viewers, up 6%.
- Warriors vs King was most-watched Game 5 on any network since 2014.
- NBA TV's Heat vs Bucks most-watched playoff game since 2014.

Why do we care? The better the ratings and the more playoff games that are played the more likely the salary cap and tax line will get bumped up above the projections.

Thought viewers would tune off because of wokeness, I guess not? Go woke go broke don’t happen in sports, not for long term

Mostly east/west coast big market teams left. The NBA is loving this.

We want GSW/LAL to go 7 games with multiple overtimes

We want the Knicks in the Finals

So, a combination of some of the usual suspects and a couple of fresher or smaller market teams is the ticket?
