Is that Batman wearing a v neck? I like the shades.

I’m good with everything but no “undershirt”. I have to have a T-shirt under my dress shirts. Always have. And I don’t have them heavy starched like I used to. But still, it’s just more comfortable having a T-shirt underneath.
But, definitely a jacket unless it’s hot and you’re out out of business meetings. If out of meetings, there is no problem dropping the jacket, rolling up the sleeves, pooping a button and loosening the tie.

I can't recommend Suit Supply Havana suits enough. I always go in and find a gay dude (not a girl) to get fitted. You tell them your problems, they fix it and make you look good for a reasonable price.
Their Havana suits are game changers in sweatboxes; you just have to deal with your shirt/undershirt selection, but the suit is absolutely not the problem. I also like the pretty clear naming; I don't have to wonder whether a Regal or a Prince is cold/warm/hot weather. You say, "Havana," and none of us need ask questions.
The amount of wrinkle resistance for being airy and inexpensive (by comparison) is amazing.
Yes, nobody wears crew necks without a specific purpose, and hasn't for a long time. I learned that about 10 years too late. Depending on whether it is UK or US sizing (and it varies between manufacturers) your open button may be 1.5 inches from the nape of your neck, or 3 inches from it. No way to tell until you buy a shirt and test it out, but you can't go wrong with the Suit Supply Havana.

Bro... I was in the starch it until it cracks camp too. You can't do that shite.
But a T-shirt and an undershirt are like apples and oranges. T-shirts show seams in the neck and arms, and are not super breathable. V-neck all day. I drop the type I like here, but if you're new to V-necks, you're going to need to get comfortable. I would strongly, strongly suggest you not buy white. There are 1,000 articles on the color of undershirts for dudes, but it is generally accepted that it's impossible to get away with white. I've worn grey (which Uniqlo doesn't seem to sell this month) for years, and just bought some of their beige-ish shirts (since I'm beige-ish.)
I tried traditional cotton V-necks and got absolutely smashed in the Israel and Europe during hot weather. Like wringing it out in an alley kinda sweat. I ditched everything that wasn't synthetic two days after we came back. Uniqlo's AIRism (particularly anything MESH) is exactly what I need, and what I have now as I do unspeakable things on a Tuesday night. Unfortunately, they're fast fashion, which means if you don't buy a Polo in the color you want within the right season, you may be SOL for all time.

As someone who wears a sport coat or suit nearly everyday, Uniqlo Airism undershirts are the absolute GOAT. I have 10 of the v-Neck grey's to make sure I'm never without one.
