Strange Way of Life - (A Pedro Almodóvar Film) Pedro Pascal and Ethan Hawke

A man rides a horse across the desert that separates him from Bitter Creek. He comes to visit Sheriff Jake. Twenty-five years earlier, both the sheriff and Silva, the rancher who rides out to meet him, worked together as hired gunmen. Silva visits him with the excuse of reuniting with his friend from his youth, and they do indeed celebrate their meeting, but the next morning Sheriff Jake tells him that the reason for his trip is not to go down the memory lane of their old friendship....
Hawke and Pascal are gay lovers.
Reading comments, this is only going to be about a 30 minute movie or something. I don't know much about the director.

It's an Almodovar film. The real surprise would have been it being played straight. Some members of this board might be down for his work, but everyone else will likely want to pass.

Dude, this is Almodóvar. He’s the most flaming gay filmmaker out there and has been steadily producing for like 30 years. This is not incendiary by his standards.
