Hilton Rose Hall All Inclusive Resort Montego Bay

Any of you ever stayed here? I have a lot of Hilton honor points and wife and I have never been to Montego Bay.
How’s the beach? Water? Food at resort? How is Sangster airport? Any recommendations for a private transport to resort?

I’ve never stayed in Montego Bay, but I’ve passed through on the way to negril several times. It’s been a few years, but MB looked crowded/dirty/run-down but I can only speak to what I saw between the airport and my resort.
Unless things have improved Sangster can be very busy. Check flight schedules for when you plan to arrive. If there are 2+ planes arriving around the same time the wait for customs can be long. I have heard reports of 1.5hrs or more and have personally waited 45 minutes. I started using club Club Mobay to avoid the wait. A representative met us when we deplaned, took us straight to baggage/customs (skipped all the folks in line), and then to their private lounge to wait for our resort transfer.

Montego Bay is like staying in Biloxi instead of heading to a Florida beach when Negril is so close. It’s a touristy area and the beaches aren’t as nice.

Only been on a day pass (cruise).
I liked the food and people, beach is not great.
We have talked about going for a few days as the kids like the lazy river and the people were great.

Have never been to MB, bur there are much better options to use your Hilton points

We stayed at Iberostar Grand for our honeymoon, so can only offer you advice on Sangster. We used Club MoBay and it was fantastic. The food and drinks and express through customs was awesome. The only thing I remember about the airport on our way back to the US was it was pretty warm in there (not much AC) and was packed.
We loved our stay and are wanting to return!
