What is this type of weed and what product do I use to get rid of it? This is burmuda in dfw.

I'm south of you closer to Austin and have the same stuff, with a few crabgrass spots in a Bermuda lawn.

If I wanted 1 thing to handle the nutsedge and the crabgrass both, would Sedgehammer still be the product of choice?

Furthermore, is it wise to apply this now in this heat or should I wait another month or two for temps to come down?

^ don’t know but watching. Get it early, it only gets much worse. Sections of our Bermuda are totally gone, replaced by nutsedge.

Just grab some Spectracide Weed Stop for Lawns. The concentrate is about $10 at Lowe’s.

Image Nutsedge is about $20.

I know it’s not one thing, but it’s worth a try for $30
