People do it all the time with camps, boats, and planes. Put EVERYTHING in writing on how the expenses, schedule, and sale after use will happen. Sale after use is big. People will want out sooner or later, either to sell the whole thing or sell their share to someone else.

Agreed. In you camp agreement/bylaws an exit strategy must be clearly laid out.
Pro tip….join in with wealthy friends who DGAF about nickel and dime expenses. Don’t even think about joining/forming a club with anyone who is a cheapskate.
