As a kid in the 60’s my friends and I could ride our bikes all over Baton Rouge. Places I wouldn’t go through in an armored car today.

I don't like this normalization of crime where the cops blame the victims "If only you had locked your car, your house, etc" like blaming a back alley rape victim for being too attractive.
