It’s more expensive to play there in the afternoons on a weekday than it is for me to bring a guest to oakbourne. I have no idea why they think that course is worth that much.

whats funny is why people bitch about paying anything less than $90 to play golf now. it should be expected.

go to muni if you want to pay less.

It’s priced the same or higher than Carter Plantation, Atchafalaya, Links on the Bayou, and Oakwing just to name a few. All of those are much nicer for the same amount or cheaper.

It’s just people bitching about overpriced golf. You using $90 as some base level price for golf in Louisiana is what’s funny

Paying 80k for a half ton truck is funny yet they are flying off the lots

They charge what people will pay.

the Price of maintaining and running a golf course has sky rocketed in the past 3 years. Cost of Fertilizer, chemicals and equipment has gone up 30-40%. My equipment package lease is up this year and runs 4 years is almost double. Then the complaining about POA! Guys, we are running out of options that kill POA and not the Bermuda Hybrids. There are POA plants showing resistance to everything we have in our arsenal. IF you think I'm full of BS, google it. AUBURN is doing a ton of work on it as is Univ. of Tenn. The cost has to be made up somewhere, and golf courses don't make money. You want a tax right off, buy a golf course.

The annual pass for The Wetlands is $1670 then we pay $20 for a cart when we play. The pass also includes Hebert. I also know that on Wednesdays and Thursdays after noon, they only charge $35 for green fee and cart. Not sure what the other public courses in the area are charging for an annual pass.
