You may recall I met a very famous Nashville guitarist who doubles as a Country Music Hall of Fame member last weekend at the guitar show in Nashville.

He test-drove and had nice things to say about my Carondelet TPA/SPA duet, which are P-90 blueprints shoved into Fender-sized pickup footprints.

Without he or me knowing, my wife turned on her Android's video recorder during the test drive and just held it inconspicuously so it would "hear" the demo without "seeing" it.

I trimmed the raw track down to about 90 seconds and put it on YouTube. To repeat, this is RAW ... there are NO edits, NO processing, NO anything, This is simply the player, my pickups, one of my Teles, my 1966 Super Reverb and a cable captured with a cell phone.

Omigosh this is GOOD. Enjoy!

Sounds great. That Time Jumper dude is pretty good too.

Sounds awesome. Is that the neck and middle positions of those P-90s?

I think the first part is neck only, then you here me tell him the middle position is humbucking and he says "oh really?," so he switches to both pickups.

Truth be told, I was so mesmerized with what I was hearing and watching his hands do strings-wise, I wasn't paying to much attention to anything else.

Sounds great regardless. You should be proud of those pickups.

Standard Tele everything. They even want to see stock 250K pots, not 500Ks like most P-90s.

Fantastic, man I really like that sound. I realize, a lot of it is the player though. He should donate his fingers to science when he dies.

I don't guess you would be interested in a straight trade for a brand new Classic Vibe 60s Mustang in sonic blue?

I really like it, I wish I had waited a couple of weeks though, I could have gotten the special edition in Lake Placid Blue. They didn't offer that color yet when I got mine.

Since yesterday, I've split around 10 hours playing between the Mustang and The LP jr.
This Mustang is making a difference in my playing, probably because of the 24" scale (with bigger frets). I'm hittin notes a lot cleaner on the LP jr.
