Concealed Carry Holster for S&W M&P Shield?

I want to get a holster for this, but I don't know if I want an IWB or OWB. Obviously I can't try them out before buying them. I don't think the stores would like me bringing in my handgun to try out holsters.

I’ve got a crossbreed minituck and a freedom carry that I’ve been using for years. I find the minituck is better because it has 2 belt clips. The freedom carry only has one and I find it slides forward a lot, but I’m a fatass, so it might just be me. There’s plenty different brands and they’re all similar, I just never ventured out from my first one. Then my shield plus fits the same holster, so there was no need to go exploring.

Four brothers holsters make one of the most comfortable kydex IWB I have ever used. I have one for my Sig X macro. I have spent thousands on holsters over the years and these guys are my go to from now on.

I’ve been using the crossbreed mini tuck for about 8 years for my shield. Zero complaints.

This depends on your build and how your clothes fit. If you're smaller, IWB might mean buying new pants, even for a thin gun like the Shield. I can carry it appendix IWB but forget 3 or 4 o'clock.
OWB your choices are endless. If you want to try IWB and you've never carried that way I'd buy the cheapest one you can find to see if it's even feasible. You've got to find a carry position before you can intelligently shop for an IWB holster, and the odds of getting it right the first time are close to zero. There's a reason people joke about having a drawer with several holsters in it that never get used.

I have that soft holster. Comfortable and secure iwb. I will purchase several more.
