Kyrsten Sinema, the moderate Arizona senator who late last year left the Democrat Party to become an Independent, has reportedly been trash-talking her former party while attending GOP-led events.
Politico reporter Jonathan Martin documented some of her most eyebrow-raising comments – and gestures – being made before an actual audience.
Sinema told a group of Republican lobbyists earlier this year that she stopped attending the Democrats’ “dumb luncheons” because of how “ridiculous” they are.
“Old dudes are eating Jell-O, everyone is talking about how great they are,” Sinema lamented. “I don’t really need to be there for that.
