Seems fair to me. I thought this was largely considered a part time gig, and most of these people have legal jobs or businesses on the side.

Which is sometimes a problem. When all the legislators are attorneys it's hard to get tort reform passed.

Normal Joes could never be a state legislator and hold a real job.
