Correct, and neither the God of the old testament nor the new testament would have a prophet do some of the things Mohamed did.
David and others were scoundrels, but not really a prophet.

The inspired word of God says otherwise…. That includes David’s protection racket scam, murdering innocent people, stealing wives from soldiers he planned to have killed, and includes him living in Philistia and fighting against the Israelites in battle for the king of Philistia.
1 Samuel 18:14
And David had success in all his undertakings, for the LORD was with him.
1 Kings 15:5
because David did what was right in the eyes of the LORD and did not turn aside from anything that he commanded him all the days of his life, except in the matter of Uriah the Hittite.
Acts 13:22
And when he had removed him, he raised up David to be their king, of whom he testified and said, ‘I have found in David the son of Jesse a man after my heart, who will do all my will.
ETA: can’t believe I forgot about David rounding up 7 of Saul’s sons and grandsons and sacrificing them to YHWH to ensure the storm god would give them enough rain for a bountiful harvest.
2 Samuel 21:
8The king took the two sons of Rizpah the daughter of Aiah, whom she bore to Saul, Armoni and Mephibosheth; and the five sons of Meraba the daughter of Saul, whom she bore to Adriel the son of Barzillai the Meholathite; 9and he gave them into the hands of the Gibeonites, and they hanged them on the mountain before the LORD, and the seven of them perished together. They were put to death in the first days of harvest, at the beginning of barley harvest.
