It’s in between Irving and dallas, commute isn’t an issue because I work a hybrid role, so if it is a little further away and a better spot I wouldn’t mind

Kids? Woman? urban/suburban/rural preference?

Give us an idea of what makes a place "better" to you as we may have vastly different ideas.

Dallas and Irving are next to each other?

There are a zillion apartments <10 years old around Lake Carolyn in Las Colinas (where the Mustangs statue is). It is also on the train line.

I don't know much about young people stuff but a lot of them live there.

Frisco/McKinney. Plano/Allen as well.

Prosper/Celina too but if you do have to go into work here and there, you're getting a bit far for a commute.

Serious question, what race are you? That area is 95% Hispanic or Indian. Lots of Tech people that live in the apartments in that area. You might have to go further out to be around people that actually want you around. It’s not all bad areas around there but definitely not diverse.

The Lake Karolyne area of Las Colinas is a good area with the Toyota Music Factory being pretty active.

Uptown is also a great area. Those saying things like Prosper aren't wrong if you want isolated suburbs with big box stores and one hell of a long drive to Dallas for anything.

Las Colinas to downtown is 15-20 minutes door to door unless its rush hour. Plus it is easy to both Love and DFW.
