Any of you know the details? I just stumbled upon this Youtube channel with some drone footage. Looks like a lot of work going on.

I don’t know the depths of the redesign besides they reworked the greens and some drainage. I went out to range last weekend and they said they are hoping to reopen in July. If that hold true then they were closed for a little over a year. Rumored to be like a 4mil redesign but some of that might of went to the hotel itself. I think all the construction is done and they just waiting on the grass to grow from what the range guy told me.

I follow the channel also, can tell there is a ton of work and design taking place. Looking forward to it, if they just keep it up..

They just hired a new super. And are hiring people for maintenance. Looking promising for now.
I hope they keep it up as I live 15 minutes from there and would love to not have to drive over an hour every time I want to play.
It will probably be pricey as it was $95 for 18 on the weekend before the rework I’m pretty sure. But I started playing golf when they only had 9 open.

Place could be amazing if Louisiana valued golf. Too many other hobbies here and not enough higher paying jobs.

A fun little course. I hope they get it back in decent shape.

Don't know why they didn't build a kick-arse marina adjacent and get all the fishermans to park and stay. I don't believe there is gas anywhere within 10 miles.

There is park that has a launch and pavilion. Not really a marina tho but it gets a big crowd. Closest gas is probably 10 minutes but not really ideal having to load the boat to fill

I 1000% agree they need some kind of marina or something... I'd love to see a lakeside oyster bar/marina right there...
It may be 6 or 7 miles or so over the road to Toledo Tackle, but there is also a gas pump on the lake at Living The Dream Guide Service. That probably isn't but about a 6 mile or so ride on the water.
Still having one on the water right there by Cypress Bend would be ideal.

Cypress Bend has a big boat launch and pavilion. Gas is just a couple of miles up the road.

Yeah, I mean, I idle from the landing to fish the golf course coves.
